Do You Really Need To?

Hellopplz. Round 12 brought us 2 MASSIVE supercoach scores. Both over 200 and both by two players slipping under the radar…..until now!! Lindsay Thomas and Jack Riewoldt are the two. Also note that these two players are forwards. Do you really need to trade them in? I’ll give my view on the matter in this little piece.

Lets start of with Lindsay. A typical small forward. There to get the crumb, get a few goals and apply defensive pressure. Don’t neccessarily equate to supercoach scores. If you look at the scores he’s pulled this year, take out the MONSTER 217 and what other scores do you come up with? Next highest was a 96. Look beyond that and you see nothing. Scores vary from as low as 31 to as high as 69. Most of the scores are in the 40’s. Don’t think he should be brought in. Can’t really be used as a cash cow this late in the season either. Has a negative breakeven but with many coaches running out of trades, would really let his 217 slide by right now.

Now we come up to one of the shining lights at the Tigers this year. JRoo would be a much better option for people looking at uniqueness and X factors come finals time. Being a Key Position Player does make his scores very up and down. But something he does more often than Thomas is that he can actually hit that ton, and hit it quite often. He’s hit it 5 times this year which isn’t that bad. But considering 4 of them have been in the last 5 weeks, he is in fine form. The one he didn’t was still a serviceable 90. Lowest score was a 56 (twice) but his highs definately outdo his lows. For a 22 year old, he has very good hands especially in a one on one contest. Has had past issues with his ego but Hardwick seems to have that in check this year. One of those reasons why he has stood out from the pack this year. Is a little pricey at 476k but has a negative breakeven. If you think he can keep it up, would jump on now before he is out of reach.
